Idaho State PoliceWith several surveys showing holiday travel numbers to be up again this year, the Idaho State Police is urging motorists to drive carefully when traveling to and from destinations.  Rick Ohnsman, Information Officer with the ISP says statistically the Thanksgiving Holiday is one of the most deadly both in Idaho and nationally.

With the combination of added motorists and the potential for winter road conditions, the ISP has diverted additional funds aimed at allowing more troopers to patrol dangerous and heavily traveled locations throughout the state.
