The search continues for a missing Potlatch man who is believed to have fallen from his boat into the Clearwater River this weekend.

Gary Thompson, 66, is the registered owner of a boat found anchored and unattended on the river north of Spalding.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office says swift water conditions prevented the use of divers and it could be a week or two before conditions improve enough to allow divers to search.
