A Lewiston man died Wednesday following a collision on Lewiston’s 21st Street. Lewiston Police say Adam Bennett, 26, died of head injuries suffered after his 2002 Suzuki motorcycle collided with a pickup truck shortly after 5pm. Bennett was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed, when a 1997 Ford pickup reportedly made a left-hand turn onto 7th Avenue and the vehicles collided. Bennett was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. The driver of the pickup, Mark Johnson, 54, of Lewiston, was not injured in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
