After six years of use, the third edition of the blue turf at Boise State University’s Bronco Stadium is history.

Construction crews started tearing up the old turf on Monday and are expected to complete the project before fall camp begins in early August.

When the construction is completed, Boise State will be playing on their fourth blue field - a tradition that began 22 years ago. (KTVB)
