No injuries were reported after a fire at the Potlatch lumber mill in Lewiston burned log waste processing equipment and nearby waste late Saturday night.

Neither the mill equipment nor logs were hit by the fire that started after 10 p.m. between the log deck area and Mill Road, burning east of the main mill facility. The fire was contained after midnight.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
