As part of Fraud Awareness Week August 18-22, the Idaho Department of Insurance will be conducting free seminars across the state to promote anti-fraud education, raise awareness about the impact of fraud and white-collar crimes on society, and encourage Idaho residents to report fraud to the appropriate authorities. Department of Insurance Public Information Specialist Tricia Carney says the free one-hour seminar will be in Lewiston, Idaho Tuesday August 19 at Lewis-Clark State College.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and are encouraged to share any personal experiences with scams or fraud.
