The Lewis-Clark State volleyball team finished its impressive run through its own Holiday Inn Express tournament by sweeping both Northwest of Washington and Westmont of California Saturday to complete a play in the five-team round-robin tournament undefeated.
The 16th ranked Warriors never lost a game on their way to posting a 4-0 record and claiming the unofficial title. Going 12-0 in tournament games, LC also won each contest by an average of nearly 10 points. Anile Clemente had a big weekend with 53 total kills in four matches.
The Warriors resume action in another five-team round-robin tournament this weekend at Concordia University in Portland.
LC will face Holy Names Friday afternoon, followed by a match against the host Concordia later that night. On Saturday the Warriors will face Northwest before meeting fellow Frontier Conference foe Montana State-Northern Saturday afternoon.
