The University of Idaho football program will open the 2008 season at Arizona Saturday with something it hasn’t had in five years: coaching stability.  Second year Head Coach Robb Akey’s entire staff has stayed together in Moscow as the group works to rebuild a program that has had anything but consistency on the sidelines in recent years.

Akey says with all the coaches back, combined with a solid returning nucleus of players, the Vandals have many of the components in place to begin to have success on the field.

Idaho will be opening its season against a Pac-10 opponent for the 5th time in the last 9 years.  Kick-off is scheduled for 6pm Pacific Time in Tucson with pre-game air time set for 5pm on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM.
