The University of Idaho football team opens the home portion of its schedule Saturday afternoon against in-state rival Idaho State.  After suffering the program’s most lopsided loss in 40 years in a 70-0 drubbing at Arizona last weekend, Vandal head coach Robb Akey says the best thing the team can do is get back on the field.

Despite struggles in virtually every aspect of the game a week ago, Akey says there won’t be any major changes made this week in terms of personnel or offensive or defensive formations.

Idaho State is also coming into the game 0-1 after suffering a season opening beating 49-7 last weekend at Boise State.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2pm PDT at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow with live coverage beginning at 1pm on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM, AM 1230 KORT and AM 1300 KLER.
