Gonzaga will be one of the first teams to play basketball in the new Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Organizers said Friday that Gonzaga will play Indiana Dec. 6 in the first game of the Hartford Hall of Fame Showcase, followed by a Notre Dame-Ohio State matchup.

This will be the third year of the showcase, which is an annual fundraiser for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Both games of the doubleheader will be televised by ESPNU.

The retractable-roof stadium is home to the Indianapolis Colts and has been selected to host the 2010 NCAA Final Four and the 2012 Super Bowl. The basketball configuration for the showcase will accommodate about 40,000 fans.  (AP)
