A 23-year-old Lewiston woman has been upgraded to serious condition following a Wednesday morning shooting in Clarkston.

Kylie Dahl was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center after Asotin County deputies found her with a gunshot wound in an apartment at 928 16th Street.

The renter of the apartment, Dane Sells, 28, was arrested on an unrelated drug charge. He is being held at the Asotin County Jail on a $125,000 bond but has not been named a suspect in the shooting.

A third person was in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but no suspects have been identified.

The investigation is being headed by the Washington State Patrol.
