Parents and community members are encouraged to attend a presentation at Lincoln Middle School in Clarkston, Washington Wednesday night to learn about threats that exist on the Internet and how to prevent children from being victims of cyber-bullying.

Part of Unicel’s National Stand Up! Program, featured speaker and Stand Up! Spokesperson Shanterra McBride says the program is designed to help educators and parents understand and prevent the growing problem of technology-related bullying.

Experts believe most cases of cyber-bullying could be eliminated if parents and communities become involved.

McBride will make presentations to students throughout the day. An additional public presentation for parents and concerned members of the community will be conducted at 6:30pm PDT in the Lincoln Middle School gymnasium.
