Republican leaders in southeastern Idaho are alleging absentee voting irregularities, including one instance where an absentee ballot was apparently requested Sept. 16 for a man who died Sept. 5.
In another instance, a former resident who sold his home in Idaho seven years ago and moved to Canada has received absentee ballots and voted in each local election since then.
Republican Chris Stevens is among those who raised the issue. Stevens is challenging Representative Elaine Smith, a Democrat from Pocatello’s District 30.
Democrats say they haven’t noticed any issues that cause them to question the election process. (AP)
