ATK says a number of workers will be laid off from the ammunition manufacturer’s Lewiston site over the next few days.
ATK Communications director Amanda Covington says the reduction in force will result in the permanent dismissal of 70 to 80 Lewiston employees.

The reduction will leave the Lewiston site with about 850 employees. Covington adds that Lewiston is not the only site being affected.
