The Lewis-Clark State College basketball teams open defense of their Frontier Conference titles with a road trip to Great Falls and Havre, Montana this weekend.
The 11th ranked Warrior women are 10-3 overall and have been rolling, winning eight consecutive games. But Warrior head coach Brian Orr believes the team will have its hands full in what he considers the toughest road trip in conference.

Meanwhile, the Warrior men have won three straight and have pushed their record above .500 at 6-4. A year ago, when the regular season ended there was a four-way tie atop the league standings and several tie-breaking scenarios decided post-season seeding.
LC head coach Tim Walker says this year may mirror last season as only three games separate the top-5 as the conference portion of the schedule begins.
