February is National Children’s Oral Health Month and Regence BlueShiled of Idaho in conjunction with the North Central District Health Department is joining with nearly 20 local dentists to provide children with free dental screenings.

The annual event is sponsored by the Regence Caring Foundation For Children, North Central District Health and Delta Dental and is open to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade who are not covered by dental insurance.

Regence Media Relations Manager Mike Tatko says the screenings are intended to identify any potential oral health problems that may exist.
