Idaho Fish and Game to conduct hunter education classes

idfg_color.jpgThe Idaho Department of Fish and Game is now accepting registrations for upcoming hunter education courses in the Clearwater area.

James Reed, Hunter Education Coordinator with the department’s Clearwater Region says classes will be offered February through April.

Both hunter and bowhunter education courses are also available on-line through the IDFG website. Students who choose the Internet option must register for and participate in a Course Field Day to complete the necessary requirements.

Anyone born after January 1, 1975 must complete a hunter education course to purchase an Idaho hunting license or show proof that they previously held a valid hunting license in Idaho or another state.
