Warriors embark on final regular season road trip

lcsc_logo1thumbnail1The Lewis-Clark State basketball teams embark on their final regular season road trip this weekend with Frontier Conference games at Montana Tech and Montana Western.

The Warrior women, who’ve won two straight games, are 16-6 overall, and are in a three-way tie for second place in the conference with a 6-3 record. LC rolled in its two conference wins last week by returning to the basics, and head coach Brian Orr says that is what the team will once again focus on this week.

Meanwhile, the LC men snapped a four-game losing streak with a home win over Great Falls Saturday.

The Warriors, who are a game under .500 with a 9-10 record ended the slump in part by making changes to the starting lineup.Head coach Tim Walker says the move was meant to provide a lift.

Tip-off times both nights are set for 5pm PST and 7pm with live coverage on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM and on-line at www.koze-sports.com.

On Friday night, the LC women will play in the 7pm contest as part of a coaches versus cancer promotion at Montana Tech in Butte.
