Qualifying teams for the 2009 Avista NAIA World Series will also be taking part in an ongoing partnership with elementary schools in the Lewis-Clark Valley on Thursday.
NAIA World Series Tournament Director Gary Picone says the NAIA World Series Reading Program puts participating players in contact with school kids to talk about the benefits of reading and to discuss books the students have been assigned to read.
