The Lewis-Clark State volleyball team opens the 2009 season this weekend hosting the Comfort Inn Tournament at the Activity Center. The two-time defending Frontier Conference Champions return after posting one of the best records in program history last season at 30-4 behind four-year starters Julie Maciboba, Austin Lewis and Lindsay Scott.
Head Coach Jen Greeny says expectations are once again high, but it will be interesting to see how the team develops under new leadership.

The Warriors will open the tournament tomorrow morning at 10am against Northwest before capping the first day off with in-state rival College of Idaho at 7pm.
The tournament continues Saturday with LC meeting fellow Frontier Conference member Great Falls at 2pm and Concordia, California at 7pm.
