Idaho motorists can expect higher gas prices over Labor Day

gasoline.jpgIdaho motorists who plan to travel over the Labor Day Holiday weekend should plan on paying higher prices for fuel than drivers in most other states.

Dave Carlson with the Idaho Chapter of the American Automobile Association says while fuel prices have either stabilized or fallen in other parts of the nation, Idaho’s price has been on the rise.

Despite the higher gasoline prices and fewer trips planned, Triple-A expects the Labor Day Holiday will produce the third highest number of travelers for the holiday in the past ten years.
