
LCSC President Dene Thomas
Lewis-Clark State College has set an all-time record for enrollment with 4,200 students attending classes for the fall semester. This year’s numbers mark the first time in the college’s history that enrollment has been avove 4,000 and the first time full-time equivalency has been above 3,000.
LCSC President Dene Thomas attributes the enrollment growth to several factors including faculty and staff, the economy and facilities.

LCSC’s enrollment is a 6.6 percent increase over last year’s total of 3,940 students and marks an increae of 806 students over the last three years – a 19.2 percent increase. Since Thomas became LCSC President in 2000, the school has grown by nearly 1,500 students – a 55 percent increase in enrollment.
