University of Idaho football player Tre’Shawn Robinson has been reprimanded by the Western Athletic Conference for his actions in the game between the Vandals and San Jose State over the weekend.

Following a Spartan touchdown late in the first half, Robinson was ejected from the game due to unnecessary roughness for throwing a punch.

WAC Commissioner Karl Benson says Robinson’s actions clearly violated the league’s sportsmanship code and won’t be tolerated, adding that any further actions of that nature may result in a one game suspension.

Vandal Head Coach Robb Akey believes the reprimand is fair and says he expects the team to play with control of their emotions.
