The Lewiston Historic Preservation Commission has launched a campaign aimed at keeping the Historic Lewiston license plate from being decomissioned. Preservation Commission Chairman Greg Follett says time is of the essence to save the Lewiston plate.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of plates go to support the commission’s historic projects and educational events around the area.

Plates may be purchased at the Nez Perce County Assessors office when registering a vehicle.
