Two Post Falls men were killed and another man was injured in a one-vehicle accident two miles south of Culdesac early Sunday morning.
According to the Idaho State Police, a Subaru driven by Derrick Dryden, 22, of Cottonwood, drifted off the road and collided with a tree at about 1:50 a.m. Benjamin Holland and Nicholas Walker, both 23, died at the scene of the accident, while Dryden was listed in fair condition last night at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
Investigators say the accident occurred after Dryden fell asleep, though alcohol is not believed to be a factor. No one in the vehicle was wearing seat belts.
