The American Automobile Association expects an increase in the number of adult Halloween partygoers this year as the holiday falls on Saturday. According to the National Retail Federation, Halloween parties will attract about 30 percent of all adults, and an estimated 62 percent of those ages 18-24 will attend or host a party.
Dave Carlson with AAA-Idaho says for those who will be attending parties with alcohol, plan ahead and don’t get behind the wheel.

Last year 58 percent of all traffic fatalities on Halloween involved a driver or motorcyclist with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or higher, which is the presumptive limit for DUI in all states.
