Swine flu shot clinics in north-central Idaho, Asotin County

The Public Health North Idaho Central District will hold H1N1 vaccine clinics Wednesday afternoon in Lewiston, Grangeville, Orofino, Moscow and Kamiah.

The clinics run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the health district offices.

Those eligible for the vaccine are pregnant women, household contacts and caregivers for children under 6 months of age, children and young adults between the ages of 6 months and 24 years, health care and emergency services personnel, and those between the ages of 25 and 64 who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.  Those who do not fit within those criteria will be asked to return to a later clinic.

Weekly clinics will continue to be held each Wednesday, as permitted by vaccine availability and demand. More information is available by calling 748-0400, or going online to idahopublichealth.com.
