Idaho health officials are conducting swine flu vaccine clinics around the region Wednesday afternoon.
Public Health-Idaho North Central District will be providing the H1N1 vaccine for pregnant women; household contacts and caregivers for children less than 6 months of age; children and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age; health care and emergency medical services personnel; and those aged 25 through 64 who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
The clinics run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at health district offices in Lewiston, Moscow, Orofino, Grangeville and Kamiah. Weekly clinics will continue to be held each Wednesday, as permitted by vaccine availability and demand.
Public Health also is currently working with the school districts to offer vaccine for all children with parental consent.
