Idaho Fish & Game seek public help in elk poaching incident

idfg-capIdaho Fish and Game officers are seeking public help in apprehending those responsible for the poaching of a bull elk Monday, November 23 in the Dent Acres area near Dworshak Reservoir.

Mike Demick with the IDFG Clearwater Office says the investigation is on-going, and officers are asking anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other illegal incident is urged to contact the department’s Clearwater Office at (208) 799-5010, the Citizens Against Poaching Hotline at 1-800-632-5999 or any law enforcement agency.

Callers can remain anonymous and could receive a $250 reward.
