The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team will host the Cannons Building Materials Tournament this weekend.  Fellow Frontier Conference member Montana State-Northern, along with Evergreen State and Eastern Oregon from the Cascade Conference will join the Warriors in the pre-determined bracket.

At 6-1, LC is off to its best start since the 2003-2004 season when the team opened 8-1.  Warrior head coach Tim Walker says he’s not all that surprised at the team’s quick start.

The Warriors will open the tournament against Evergreen State Friday night at 7pm PST and will meet Easter Oregon Saturday at 7pm.

Both games will be carried live on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM and online at www.koze-sports.com.

Meanwhile, the 16th ranked LC women travel to Bellingham, Washington for a pair of games against NCAA Division II foes.
On Friday, the 6-1 Warriors begin play in the Lynda Goodrich Classic against St. Martin’s University before facing the host team Western Washington Saturday.

The games mark the first of a four-game northwest road trip for LC. Following the Bellingham swing the Warriors will travel to McMinnville and Newberg, Oregon for games against Linfield College and George Fox College December 4th and 5th.
