Humanitarian Bowl officials welcome Idaho, Bowling Green

H_Bowl_logoThe University of Idaho will play in the post season for the first time since 1998 when the Vandals meet Bowling Green December 30th in the Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl in Boise.  Kevin McDonald, Executive Director of the bowl says the organization couldn’t be happier with the matchup in terms of both an economic and competitive standpoint.

Idaho, which won the 1998 Humanitarian game in its only other bowl game appearance, has posted the nation’s second best turnaround this year.

Bowling Green coach Dave Clawson, whose team overcame a 1-4 start to become bowl eligible, says the Falcons are excited about the opportunity to continue the season.

The Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl will be played at Boise State’s Bronco Stadium December 30th. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30pm PST with live radio coverage beginning at 12:30pm PST in the LC Valley on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM.
