With more travelers expected on the roads over the holidays the American Automobile Association is offering motorists a few tips to ensure a safe trip to and from destinations. Dave Carlson with the Idaho Chapter of AAA says every trip should begin by planning ahead.

Other tips include keeping vehicle windows clear of snow and ice, and pack snow boots and gloves in the event walking becomes necessary if stranded.
