The YWCA of Lewiston and Clarkston is collecting winter clothing such as hats, gloves, coats and blankets to give to those in need. Executive Director Sylvia Evers says the poor economy and winter conditions have taken a toll on families who are unable to afford the basics.

Donations can be dropped off during business hours at the YWCA office in Lewiston located at 300 Main Street. For more information call (208) 743-1535.
