The University of Idaho football team will compete in the post-season for the first time since 1998 when the Vandals meet Bowling Green in the Humanitarian Bowl Wednesday in Boise. The game also marks just the second time in program history that Idaho has been to a bowl game – the last time being the 1998 Humanitarian Bowl when the Vandals beat Southern Mississippi 42-35.
Idaho head coach Robb Akey says he expects a big turnout, with a lot of silver and gold in the stands.
