As the U.S. and global economies begin what looks like the start of a recovery, the American Automobile Association believes gasoline price stability may be a casualty. Dave Carlson with the Idaho Chapter of AAA says Americans are already seeing prices at the pump climbing and its anyone’s guess how high they might go.

According to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report, Idaho’s current average price for gasoline is $2.65, Washington is at $2.88 and Oregon’s average price is $2.80.
Wyoming has the nation’s lowest price at $2.49, while Alaska has the highest average price at $3.37 per gallon.
