Tipoff: 430p — Warrior basketball teams on the road tonight

The Lewis-Clark State basketball teams hit the road for the first time in conference play this weekend with a pair of games at Montana-Western Friday and at Montana Tech Saturday.
The 11th ranked Warrior women have won nine straight games and are 16-2 overall.

Western has struggled to a 4-11 overall record, while Montana Tech is off to its best start in over a decade at 11-3.
Warrior head coach Brian Orr says despite the tougher matchup appearing to be Saturday night, he’s not concerned about the team looking past Western.

Meanwhile, the Warrior men are 10-6 after splitting two games last weekend at home beating Great Falls and falling to Montana State-Northern.

Western is 13-5 overall and is ranked 25th in the nation.

LC head coach Tim Walker says ball control and limiting Western’s possessions will be critical in order to have success in Dillon.
