School districts in Lewiston, Clarkston and Asotin, along with Lewis-Clark State College are conducting a fundraising event aimed at relief efforts to those suffering in Haiti following the destructive earthquake that struck the country January 12th.
Pauline Bjorklund with the Lewiston School District says the “Coins For Haiti” fundraiser is an opportunity to teach and help at the same time.

All money will be given to the American Red Cross in its relief mission. Donations can be brought in to participating schools, the LCSC Student Union Building or any Potlatch #1 Federal Credit Union branch through January 29th.
