The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is invited the public to attend a Family Ice Fishing Clinic and Derby Saturday, Feburary 6th at the Spring Valley Reservoir near Troy. Jen Bruns, Volunteer Coordinator with the department’s Clearwater Office says the event serves as a way to introduce new anglers to the fun of winter fishing.

Those with ice fishing gear are encouraged to bring it along, though loaner equipment will be available on a first-come-first-serve-basis.

Check-in will be conducted on the east side of the reservoir near the parking lot and food and hot beverages will be available for sale.
