A bomb squad from Spokane disposed of a pipe bomb found in Nez Perce County Tuesday afternoon.

According to Nez Perce Tribal Police, an LOID worker discovered the device in an area above McCormick Ridge Road and brought it to the smoke shop at the intersection with Webb Road at about 2:45 p.m. The device was described as a 1-foot-long metal pipe with caps and a fuse that appeared to have previously been lit.
