The Lewis-Clark State baseball team rallied for a 7-6 win Tuesday in the final game of a two-game series with in-state rival College of Idaho at Harris Field.
Junior outfielder Gino Casini walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th inning to give LC its 11th straight win. Senior catcher Travis Georgious had three hits, including his first homerun of the season, and drove in two runs in leading the 10 hit attack. Senior third-baseman Brian Burke hit his team-leading 7th homerun and senior shortstop Todd Muecklisch went deep for his third.
Senior reliever Henry Buenrostro pitched the final 2 1/3 shutout innings to earn his first win of the year.
The Warriors, now 12-1 on the year, will resume play this weekend with a pair of games against Central Washington.
