Jury selection is underway in the trial of a Lewiston man accused of strangling his wife last year.
Gary Mallory, 39, is accused of killing Charlene Mabie, 48, at their home in February 2009. Officials classified Mabie’s death as a homicide by asphyxiation and/or strangulation.
Mallory has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and felony domestic battery charges.
Opening arguments are expected on Wednesday.
