Idaho Gov. Butch Otter has filed paperwork declaring his intention to seek a second term as governor.
The Republican has yet to make a formal, public announcement. But he filed candidacy papers Friday with the Secretary of State and filled several key posts on his re-election campaign team.
Otter appointed Debbie Field, director of the Office of Drug Policy, to be his campaign manager, the same job she held in Otter’s successful 2006 campaign.
Otter is one of six candidates seeking the job of Idaho chief executive. The others are fellow Republicans Rex Rammell and Walt Bayer, Democrat Keith Allred, Independent Jana Kemp, and Libertarian Ted Dunlop. (AP)
