Albertson Foundation launches 2nd phase of “Go On” campaign

The J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation is launching the second phase of a statewide campaign aimed at boosting the number of college graduates in Idaho.

The foundation released the details Friday, challenging high schools to increase the number of students who register for upper-level classes, complete college entrance exams and take advantage of opportunities such dual-credit courses.

The schools could earn up to $100,000 for their efforts to better prepare students.

The foundation kicked off the “Go On” campaign in November and is spending a total of $20 million to fund scholarships, increase the reach of the Idaho Education Network and spread awareness with billboards, television and radio ads. (AP)
