Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Florida has claimed the final berth into the NAIA World Series with a dramatic 3-2 win over St. Thomas of Florida in the NAIA Group 7 Opening Round National Tournament.
The 8th ranked Eagles, from Daytona Beach, Florida will be making their 9th appearance in the World Series.
With the addition of the Eagles, the 10-team field is now set and includes – Lewis-Clark State, Cumberland of Tennessee, California Baptist, Lee of Tennessee, Lubbock Christian of Texas, Oklahoma City, Point Loma Nazarene of California, Embry-Riddle of Florida, Tennessee Wesleyan, and Belhaven of Mississippi.
The tournament runs May 28th through June 4th at Harris Field in Lewiston.
