NAIA teams promote “Score A Hit With Reading” program

On Thursday players from all 10 participating World Series teams will take part in the “Score A Hit With Reading” program for sixth graders in Lewiston, Clarkston, Asotin and Lapwai to help promote reading.

More than 750 copies of the book were distributed to area sixth graders and their school libraries.

The players will spend approximately an hour in the classrooms, reading and interacting with the students.
