WSU baseball competes in the NCAA National Championships

The Washington State University baseball team opens play Friday in the NCAA Division I Championships.

The 2nd-seeded Cougars, making their second-straight appearance, face 3rd-seeded Kansas State in the Fayetteville, Ark., Regional.

Arkansas is the No. 1 seed, and Grambling State is the No. 4 seed.

The WSU/KSU game starts at 5:05 PM Pacific.

The regional lasts through Monday, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Championships in Omaha, Nebraska.
