Eleven members of the Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Search Committee met Tuesay to review the scope of work, timeline and job description for the current opening of president.
The committee is charged with reviewing job description for the presidential position and screening applicants.
The committee will ultimately deliver a list of finalists for the State Board of Education.
No defined timeline has been set, but the work is expected to take roughly one year. The committee will meet again in mid-September in Lewiston.
Interim President and former Provost Tony Fernandez is overseeing the day-to-day college operations until a successor to outgoing President Dene Thomas is named.
