Boise State on Friday accepted an invitation to join the Mountain West Conference in 2011.
The Broncos are the 10th member of the Mountain West, which was formed in 1999 when eight teams broke away from the WAC. TCU joined the league in 2005.
The other Mountain West members are Air Force, BYU, Colorado State, New Mexico, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah and Wyoming. (Idaho Statesman)
