Authorities at the Mountain Home Air Force Base are investigating the death of a 27-year-old airman.
KBOI-TV reports that a female staff sergeant assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing died early Monday. She was taken to Elmore Memorial Hospital on Sunday, but was later transferred to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where she died.
Her name has not been released. (AP)
