Idaho U.S. Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch plan to vote against the confirmation of Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Risch, who also opposed Kagan’s nomination as Solicitor General, cited his concerns over Kagan’s stance on partial birth abortion and the second amendment right to bear arms.
Crapo, echoed Risch’s worries about the second amendment, and also voiced his concerns that Kagan would be an activist judge on the nation’s highest court.
